In depth

Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in good form including top weight Bahamian Dollar, who will appreciate dropping down in grade afer a good run at Windsor and has his regular partner on board. One Big Surprise won at Brighton in April and didn't appreciate an extra furlong at Bath while Danecase showed his narrow defeat here was no fluke when scoring at Goodwood and is only 2lb higher. Passing Star is much better on the all-weather but SWANTON BLUE, a winner at Wolverhampton in November, reappeared with a comfortable victory over the course and distance last month and a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow up. Perfect Pastime has won ten races including a Class 5 handicap at Epsom last month so Jim Boyle's veteran has to be respected.
