Brave Poppy is penalised for his bumper victory in December 2015 and was beaten a long way on his hurdling debut in April though will have needed the run. Lettre de Cachet also has extra for her victory on the Flat back in 2014 but she ran in much better class than this last season. She was well beaten into second on her reappearance but is better than that and has to be on the shortlist. COEUR JOYEUX has changed stables and probably should have won by now. He's come up against some useful opposition in most starts and appeared to find three miles just too far at Punchestown last time. He gets the nod though Alabama Rose looks as though she'll be suited by stepping up in trip and Tayto Park is interesting on his return from a long break as he looked promising early last year.
