Verdict

Support for Black Moth or Reckless Reward would be noteworthy but FOGHORN LEGHORN has the benefit of a run and can put the experience to good use in this ordinary maiden; Milldown Magic was hampered when making an effort on debut at Goodwood 12 days ago and, as he may be better than that; he is another to keep on the shortlist if the vibes are right. The selection was overcome by nerves on his intended introduction at Newbury but was much more cooperative before finishing to good effect in a similar race at Doncaster last month. Foghorn Leghorn can be expected to be a lot wiser for the run and, although Black Moth and Reckless Reward hail from yards that are very capable of readying a first-time out winner; experience counts for plenty at this level and the Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained colt is given the benefit of the doubt today.
