MARCHING TIME can get back on the right track in this company. Prime Exhibit, Debrass and Russian Jar complete (a difficult to compile) shortlist. In truth, not too many of the others can be confidently ruled out of this highly competitive handicap. But money in the ring to back up the claims held by Shavansky would also be noteworthy. The last named ran a cracker in the Cambridgeshire but a 6lb higher mark may find him out here. Russian Jar represents a yard that will be still celebrating a big win at Ascot at the weekend - a result that underlines the return to form of Michael Jarvis' string. This fellow is no Rakti but he can make the rest aware of his presence today. Debrass has a tough task at the weights but is a consistent performer and usually tries his heart out. The more rain the better for him; so it may be a good idea to check an updated weather forecast before diving in with the top weight. Prime Exhibit also acts well with cut in the ground and a good case can be stated in his favour. However, Marching Time is much better than he showed from a bad draw at Ascot last month and, as the mount of Ryan Moore is likely to be suited by the anticipated strong pace, he has is taken to bounce back today.
