Prakara is bred to be much better than he has shown so far and looks interesting with Frankie in the plate, however we will give the vote to Counting Blessings, with Archie Wright also expected to go well. Michael Bell's filly was always the type to do better when handicapped and she did just that at Musselburgh last time, chasing home Best Game. This race if anything is slightly weaker and she can go one better this afternoon. Prakara, a daughter in Indian Ridge was soundly beaten in three maidens before running a little better on her handicap debut last time. Her trainer is very patient with his handicappers and there may be some improvement to come. Archie Wright is steadily getting the hang of this game and his recent fourth behind Cayman Breeze reads quite well in the context of this event. All in all it is a pretty modest affair and Counting Blessings could be good enough to land first prize.
