Verdict

Peppard may do better now handicapping, as MASTER GUNNER did at Yarmouth. If the blinkers work a second time for Sir Michael Stoute's colt, he can go one better here ahead of So Celebre, though the latter is also getting closer having only lost out by a neck at Windsor eight days ago. Patent has been a beaten favourite in his last two and looks vulnerable again here.
