Linda Green can defy topweight at the expense of Mimic,Tuscarora and Pearl Farm who all bid to go one better than on their respective previous outings. Linda Green has had a busy season, and showed that she is not finished yet by bouncing back to form at Windsor recently. That was on softer ground than today's, but Mick Channon's filly gained back-to-back victories on good going at Bath earlier in the campaign, and this drop down to Class 5 level should ensure that she makes a bold bid to give weight away all round. Mimic raced all alone on the stands side at Yarmouth last time, and was only just denied, while Tuscarora finished second over seven furlongs at Brighton and now drops back in trip. She was fancied at the Sussex track and should be noted in the market here. Pearl Farm was a little unlucky in running when chasing home Young Valentino on her first run of the season at Lingfield in July, and off a mark of 57, could have been let in lightly, but the battle-hardened Linda Green may have too much experience on this occasion.
