Verdict

Sylvester Kirk has enjoyed a steady string of winners this season and can pick up again with Delphie Queen, who is selected ahead of Jedburgh and Golden Sahara, of whom we are yet to see the best and are respected accordingly. Camberwell is also given a solid mention as he bolted in over course and distance on his debut and already looks ready to take his chance against stiffer opposition. However, the form of the selection's second to Two Step Kid at York reads very well in the context of this race and she will be a very tough customer to deal with if she is in the same frame of mind tonight. This stiff finish should also play to her strengths and, with no doubts about her ability to see out the trip or handle the ground, Delphie Queen looks the one to be on in this most valuable prize of the evening at Salisbury.
