Verdict

Right Answer could be just that in the opener with Key Secret and Blue Marble shortlisted as the main dangers. The selection was a close second behind Mary Read at Windsor last time following a good win at Salisbury, and with further improvement likely and Keiren Fallon in the plate to coax her along she could have too much toe for her rivals. Key Secret has done nothing wrong so far and is another that looks to be going the right way, but this is her most difficult assignment to date and she will have to improve again to score. Blue Marble should handle the ground and put up his best effort to date when defeating Lucky Emerald at Nottingham. This colt was badly drawn when disappointing at Windsor previously so he is not one to discount easily with conditions to suit. Of the remainder, Lady Dan is from a shrewd yard, will not mind some cut in the ground and ran well here on her penultimate start when narrowly beaten by Distinctly Game. However, she ran a shocker last time at Beverley and that run will have to forgiven if she is to be supported here. This is a tricky race for punters to call, but we will nominate Right Answer as the one they have to beat.
