Burguillos was well backed at Ffos Las in July but failed to quicken over the slightly shorter trip. Skeaping probably has the best overall form but he's had plenty of chances. New World Power is more interesting as he's already been placed at Newbury and Sandown, though didn't really threaten the winner on either occasion. A length-and-a-half separated Capton and TRANSMITTING behind Stratum at Windsor but neither were given a hard time. Sir Michael Stoute's gelding could reverse the form today and find the necessary improvement to trouble more experienced rivals. Rock'n Gold is nicely bred but his stable's runners often improve for the experience.
