Verdict
This looks a tricky finale. Gert Lush was in good form at the start of the summer and Pledge Of Honour is finally starting to slip down the ratings. Tudor has switched stables since last seen but Morcar is back over his winning distance and will enjoy the fast ground. The booking of Ryan Moore for the latter’s stablemate Le Mans catches the eye as she is the least exposed, though she tries a new trip and Leicester winner Alice Knyvet is also upped in distance. MONTY BAY was rallying when second over course and distance three weeks ago and may outlast his rivals.
