As Fast As Wind had no chance with the winner at Bellewstown but had the remainder well beaten. Time To Soar ran well on her return from a break at Gowran but was almost two lengths behind LADY MEIS, who was beaten a short-head after being headed on the line. The latter is taken to go one better as Sarah Purser was beaten a long way on the same track, though Astar looks an obvious threat. Dermot Weld's filly had been placed in four successive maidens before runner-up in a Galway handicap that couldn't have worked out much better.
