Summer Romance was a huge disappointment when odds-on in this grade at Ascot last time. She finished behind subsequent Goodwood second Dark Lady and Good Vibes, though was a place ahead of So Sharp. Dear Power and Final Option both won on their respective debuts but York runner-up Dr Simpson is having a first run beyond 5f, though holds Kemble on the form book. MILLISLE also tackles 6f for the first time but she travels over from Ireland off the back of a victory in a Listed race at the Curragh when three lengths ahead of the Anglesey Stakes runner-up Lil Grey. She’s well drawn and from a yard which has had its two-year-olds firing on all cylinders for a while - there are no stamina concerns on pedigree.
