Verdict

This looks modest in the extreme but J J Stingleton is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Kempton in November. Ectocross and Fullforward are closely matched on recent Lingfield running and Chester Tonik placed off a higher mark on Turf last year. GASMAN has a first run for Charlie Hills having been gelded since a poor run at Lingfield in January. He’d been an eye-catcher when second at that track earlier and still has time on his side. Think Champagne stays further and that may be an advantage under today’s conditions.
