Verdict

MONTE LINAS made a winning debut when scoring over track and trip and may defy a penalty with William Buick on board. He had Flame Spirit back in third and the latter is fitted with blinkers today while the more exposed American Belle has her second start in a tongue-tie after going close here on her reappearance. Raven's Applause ran well over 6f at the track and is preferred to Hildegard while Terwada is a newcomer to note.
