Green Velvet could be hard to keep out of the frame and she holds Nollaig Shona on their running at Lingfield but she has yet to win on grass and appears to hold few secrets from the handicapper so preference is for THE JOBBER who has dropped 20lbs in the weights since his last win in June of last year which came over this course and distance. He's clearly struggled in the intervening period but all may not be lost and a return to more patient tactics may also pay dividends. Matterofact hasn't got a great record here and may be a shade high in the weights whilst an 8lb rise for Magical Speedfit's victory at Brighton may scupper his chances and of more interest is The Wee Chief who ran far better at Sandown than his finishing position suggests.
