Daylight beat Tidentime on the Turf at Lingfield in June and is back on the same mark today. Slip Sliding Away is eased in grade but is probably better over 5f and Red Aggressor was fourth over that trip at Yarmouth last time. Panther Patrol's winning run came to an end at Brighton and he may be in the handicapper's grip now while Royal Brave is still climbing the weights but Vallarta is starting to look well treated, as is JOE PACKET. It's more than three years since Jonny Portman's gelding last got his head in front but he's 12lb lower now and has been thereabouts several times recently. Musicora is also worth a second look in first-time blinkers.
