HATHAL faded into fourth in the closing stages of a Group 2 race at Chantilly last time and went close in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood before that. That looks strong form in the context of this race and Wiliam Haggas’ charge is preferred to fellow UK-raider Stormy Antarctic. The latter won a Listed race in good style at Chantilly a fortnight ago with Instant De Reve well beaten and should also be in the mix. Dicton has plenty to find with the selection while Maximum Aurelius, Glen Shiel and Enlighted are hard to separate having all won Listed races on their respective latest starts.
