A GREATER FORCE, a €525,000 son of Montjeu, is unlikely to hit the heights but he did show improvement on his opening run when narrowly beaten at Listowel and providing he handles the much quicker ground can start repaying some of the outlay. Beyond Intensity showed promise as a juvenile but hasn't progressed this season though Kevin Manning prefers him to the well-bred Ardmore, who makes his belated debut. Next Bend has looked moderate in his three runs to date and there is nothing in his pedigree to suggest a step-up to this trip will suit while bumper winner Call Me Pj was firmly put in his place by Rebel Fitz at Listowel and may do better on softer ground.
