In depth

Verdict

Ballyglass led for a long way on testing ground at Ballinrobe and will take some catching on the likely quicker going. Derracrin has been getting outpaced and may not come into his own until tackling hurdles so this can go to a newcomer and THE MEDIATOR fits the bill. Gordon Elliott's charge is a half-brother to three winners on the level and should have enough basic speed for this. Downtown Queen is a half-sister to three winning bumpers and is another newcomer to note.
