In depth

Verdict

Joseph O'Brien is double-handed with the four-year-old DRUID'S ALTAR and Embittered. The former beat Jungle Junction four lengths at Killarney then almost tripled the winning distance against the runner-up when eased down at Wexford and gets an age allowance. Embittered beat the smart Poseidon at Killarney while Bold Enough easily completed a double earlier in the summer before a tremendous effort in a Galway Grade 3. Exit Poll has plenty of experience which should stand him in good stead against these while Presenting Bonnie was having just her second start over fences when scoring at Kilbeggan. The four-year-old filly Hurricane Georgie was an impressive debut winner over fences at Downpatrick and gets all the allowances.
