No surprise MACQUARIE (NAP) drops back in trip after finishing tailed off over further at the Galway festival. The son of Australia does not appear the most straightforward of performers but his placed efforts at the Curragh and Navan just about set the standard and he'll probably set out to make all around this sharp track. X' Girl suggested there is more to come from her when an improved third in a Naas maiden this month and is respected alongside Yenillik, who may well benefit from this drop in trip. The Virginian was much improved second time up after a break and gelding operation and is noted along with newcomers Insaan and Cerro Bayo.
