INTENSIFIED started out with narrow defeats by Sir John Hawkins and War Command before being beaten when long odds-on by Tarn at the Curragh. He's been given a break since a poor effort behind Exogenesis at Leopardstown and hopefully that will have freshened him up enough to gain a deserved first success. Green Tag created a real shock when finishing first past the post at 33/1 in a Gowran maiden but was then disqualified for swerving left and right. Connections will be hoping for compensation, while Silver Gauntlet was by no means given a hard time in a four-runner affair at Tipperary and should soon be repaying that kindness. There are a couple of newcomers to note including Johnny Murtagh's Selkirk filly Shiftin Bobbins.
