Verdict

Aranhill Chief needed a few runs last year but should be winning again soon. Forever Gold won this 12 months ago but is 12lb higher, though can be forgiven his run over much further at Punchestown last time. However, he was behind Malt Gem at Fairyhouse earlier, though is now 12lb better off. Hunter chaser Final Gift couldn't have returned in better form from a break, though last week's victory at Tipperary was his first in a handicap and he has a penalty to carry here. Never Complain also won at Tipperary on his latest start while Mr Goodenough scored over further at Fairyhouse. THE DOORMAN may be best caught fresh and won over a similar trip at Thurles in November. Still only six, he's less exposed than the majority of these and might be a bit of value in an open race.
