Verdict

Ger Lyons won this last year and Roibeard made such an impressive debut at Down Royal that he'll be supported to follow suit. What he beat that day is unknown but he did it well and his trainer expects him to make significant progress. Henshaw won over the course and distance in June but couldn't handle the step up to Group 3 company at Leopardstown and should do much better back in this grade. Mr Michael looked as though he needed further when staying on over this trip on soft ground at Galway so the vote goes to LAST WALTZ. She's related to a host of winners at this trip and upwards and wouldn't have been suited by 5f on her debut at Cork in May. Wexford Voice is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first four runners and is one to note in the market.
