Diophas disappointed when favourite behind Hampstead Heath at Tipperary and is taking his time fulfilling potential over fences. Tribes And Banners attracted good support on his chasing bow at Tipperary and only gave backers one anxious moment when making a slight mistake as he led at the last. There's more to come from Charlie Swan's charge though he may have to give best to GRAND OPERA on this occasion. Gordon Elliott's flat and hurdles winner could hardly have been more impressive on his chasing debut at Ballinrobe where he came home strongly to beat Flag Of Honour. He looks certain to improve for the run and can shake off the attentions of the more experienced Echo Bob, an easy winner on fast ground at Tramore before a decent run behind the prolific Adajal on this track.
