A decent prize has brought out a strong field. The four-year-old Quantatmental makes a quick reappearance after a comfortable victory in his age group at Bellewstown last week while fellow youngster MIAMI BEACH gets into the race on a low weight despite beating older horses at Kilbeggan. The latter gets the vote in receipt of 16lb from Judgement Day, who completed a hat-trick over fences last autumn and returned to action with a victory in a novices' hurdle on the latter track in May. The Red Menace wasn't beaten far in that latter event and has a big pull in the weights while Everybreathyoutake could hardly have won more easily at Downpatrick and his stamina will stand him in good stead. Shawshank looked like winning easily at Wexford until unseating his rider and made amends in impressive fashion on a return visit so is another to note in an interesting race.
