EARLS QUARTER wasn't particularly fancied on his debut in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the Punchestown Festival in April but ran a superb race to finish third behind Divine Rhapsody and the useful Double Double. With that experience under his belt he will take the world of beating here. Tistobesure ran three sound races early last year but hasn't been seen since that April and may not be straight enough to beat Willie Mullins' charge this time. The remainder who have had a run will need major improvement and it could be the Hawk Wing gelding Sobrando Lodge, whose dam has produced a couple of winners, who does best of the newcomers.
