Ciankyle won here in June then from a 10lb higher mark at Sligo later but couldn't handle another 6lb rise at Bellewstown. GRAND CANYON has been lightly raced this year, scoring on the Flat at Leopardstown in April and over hurdles at Ballinrobe 10 days ago. Both victories were on testing ground but he won on fast going when trained in the UK so gets the vote. Trenchtown Rock hadn't been showing much before a surprise victory at Wexford last month but that was only his fifth start over hurdles so there should be more to come. Rain In Spain looked suited to further when landing a 2m5f Sligo maiden but showed she had no problems with this sort of trip at Clonmel where she battled to victory in a handicap. She's up 5lb but has an obvious chance of completing a hat-trick. Comehere Hi isn't the most consistent but would have a chance on her second to Lockeen Girl at Tramore in August while Toor General has shown enough ability to get involved from this lowly mark.
