Verdict

PONTY ACCLAIM has run well in better company since winning at Thirsk. Successful over C&D on her racecourse debut, she can take advantage of a drop in grade to return to winning ways today. Quite A Thing has won on turf and Polytrack at Lingfield, beating Mr Majeika at the Surrey course earlier this month, but in much lesser company and has a bit to prove here. Signifer has already had 11 starts and was beaten in a nursery last time, though does appear to handle soft ground. Kool Henry has also won on good to soft and may be the biggest danger to the selection, though is giving 3lb to Tim Easterby's filly.
