    Verdict

Annie Walker was retained without a bid after winning a Catterick seller earlier this month. She shouldn't be underestimated in this better grade but may find the drop back in distance against her. Blue Shoes won a maiden auction over C&D last time and is clearly at home on soft ground, while Tell Dad has been dropped a couple of pounds since a fair fifth at Goodwood and should find a race before the end of the year. But we like the look of ALMOND BRANCHES, who has form in better company and will be suited this extra furlong on breeding - she was doing her best work at the finish at Thirsk last time. Class Monitor may find this too hot.
