Mr Wagyu has won 15 races in a long career, including several top handicaps, but he's never won over the minimum trip. VINTAGE CLARETS was in good form for most of last summer and suffered interference when runner-up at Musselburgh. He's on the same mark here and can get back on the winning trail. Copper Knight has won a dozen races in his time and is 8lb lower than his last victory at Chester in June but stablemate Hyperfocus is better over another furlong. Illusionist made a winning reappearance at York last May but hasn't been seen since the following month.
