RIDE THE MONKEY is clear at the weights. He made a promising start in handicaps when fourth at Redcar but drops down to this level having run poorly at Haydock last time and may prove good enough. Knightly Spirit has shown little in either outing so far this year though is weighted to figure while cheekpieces are added to Tails I Win, who looks best of the remainder on these terms despite her best efforts to date coming on soft ground. Smashing Lass may do better over this longer trip and is preferred to stablemate Phenakit.
