      Verdict

      This looks tricky despite Signore Piccolo having the best recent form. He won nicely at Nottingham last time with De Repente behind but is upped 11lb and is racing on faster ground today. Southwell winner Meadway may also prefer some cut, so the vote goes to TAQUKA. Runner-up over 6f on his handicap debut, he'd made all over the minimum trip at Lingfield before that. Lorimer's Lot led for a long way over 6f here last week and should be thereabouts while Fuel Injection won over track and trip in August and has scored off a higher mark on the all-weather since.
