Snap Shots was ahead of Kimberella when sixth in the Great St Wilfrid here last month while REX IMPERATOR (NAP) was beaten less than a length in the consolation race for the latter sprint. David O’Meara’s charge finished well ahead of Fast Track, has a favourable high draw and also has the beating of Flying Pursuit on collateral form. Stablemate Out Do is at home in this grade but another O’Meara runner in Ustinov won at Hamilton recently and steps up in class along with Chelmsford winner Hakam and the treble-chasing Boy In The Bar. Mayfair Lady has been racing in pattern company since scoring at York in June but has a shout in this off a 3lb higher mark.
