IMSHIVALLA was in good form for most of last summer and returned with an impressive victory on heavy going at Redcar for which a 4lb rise doesn't appear excessive. Richard Fahey puts up an apprentice to negate a big weight and the move can pay off. Polar Forest, who won a similar class handicap over the track and trip in August, has found 1m2f just stretching his stamina on his two latest starts so he can go well while the progressive Bahama Moon relished the heavy going on his reappearance at Redcar unlike his stablemate Swift Emperor. The winner of three of his first four starts, the latter floundered in the mud on his reappearance over an extra two furlongs here last week. Treasury Notes was narrowly beaten by Bahama Moon at Redcar but has since disappointed when tackling further at Doncaster. Master Of Irony progressed nicely last season and found some support on his return to action in the Spring Mile at Doncaster but never got competitive.
