Verdict
Ruth Carr has her string in rude health currently and AL MUHEER could be another one for the North Yorkshire yard, having announced a return to form last time when hunting up Eeny Mac at Beverley. The nine-year-old is now 5lb lower than his last winning mark when obliging at Chester a year ago and can post a ninth career success in his 96th race. Tracy Waggott has two solid chances with course and distance winner, Border Bandit, and No Quarter, both of whom have gone well in the past week. They are preferred in that order as the former rates the more consistent of the pair. Al Mukhdam and Woody Bay have claims on the best of their form but both seem to have lost their way of late and are consequently best watched.
