A tight handicap where previous C&D winners Hot Rod Mamma and Tiger Reigns are worthy of respect. Much could depend on the going, and if significant rain arrives, it should assist the chances of VITO VOLTERRA. Michael Smith's five-year-old is still capable of showing his form on a sound surface but he likes to travel prominently and this track suits that distinct style of running. Kyllachy Star continues to drop down the weights and any market confidence about Richard Fahey's six-year-old should be noted. Jo'Burg accounted for some ordinary opposition at Redcar and given his trainer's record with other's cast offs, he is very much to be feared. Majestic Dream was far from disgraced in a valuable lady rider's event at Ascot, and having raced off a 9lb higher mark a year previously, Mick Easterby's gelding is weighted to go close.
