David O'Meara has gone full throttle in pursuit of this prize and SHERIFF OF NAWTON appears to be the pick of his trio. The four-year-old hasn't seen a racecourse since dotting up at Doncaster in May, and this race appears to have been very much on the agenda. Chancery proved himself no back number when taking the Silver Bowl over a shorter trip in April, while Hit The Jackpot will be fresh from a victory at Ayr. Triple Dip clearly thrives upon her racing and Mark Johnston's filly will be competitive in receipt of a substantial weight-for-age allowance. Gabrial's King looks a likely type for the Ebor handicap, and he needs to reverse recent York form with Esteaming and Pressure Point in order to win this. The latter has improved greatly over the course of the season and conditions should be ideal for Keith Dalgleish's five-year-old.
