        Verdict

        With the stalls on the stands’ side, high numbers are likely to be advantageous today in sprints. KUPA RIVER was only seventh in this last year on his reappearance but arrives this time on a hat-trick after victories at Wolverhampton and Leicester. Roger Fell’s five-year-old is still very well treated on the pick of his Turf form and stall 12 looks ideal. Mr Wagyu goes well here and is on a lower mark than when scoring at Haydock and Newmarket last summer. Daffy Jane, Bossipop and Penny Pot Lane are also course and distance winners but Mr Orange is a Pontefract specialist and Paddy Power is better suited by a stiff 5f.
