The annual highlight of the Ripon racing year and a chance for TATLISU to gain a much-deserved success in major handicap sprint company with Declan McDonogh one of the most eye-catching jockey bookings of the weekend for the Fahey team. Off the bottom perch, he arrives in excellent shape after a splendid placed effort in the Stewards' Cup consolation, prior to which he'd gone really well in a series of ultra-competitive sprint handicaps. Out Do is another likely contender who's been threatening to land a decent pot all term whilst racking up the place money. He seems sure to be in the shake-up once again and ties in very closely with the selection and Pipers Note, who has won all of his last three races over course and distance. The latter has probably been prepared with this race in mind and is well worth a saver at the likely odds. Spinatrix, second in the race last year, also goes really well here and will appreciate the return to handicap company after not looking out of place in Listed grade on recent starts and Dandy Nicholls' Kimberella is also worth a second look.
