Pandar should be noted if sent here after a below-par effort at Goodwood on Thursday, especially if the rains arrive, but RED REFRACTION is the one that makes most appeal reverting to sprinting. Danny Tudhope, an excellent booking by Richard Hannon, can decide which side to go from a central draw and can track the pace before delivering a late thrust. Similar tactics will be employed by Mon Brav, tough and consistent and enjoying a good run. Jacob Butterfield's 5lb claim brings him very much into the picture along with the hat-trick seeking Compton Park, the consistent Englishman and Duke Cosimo in what is inevitably a wide-open affair.
