        Verdict

        PINOTAGE looks to have strong claims in this. He won at Redcar before finishing a close-up third in a higher grade race at Beverley and should take care of today's rivals with a similar effort. Twisted's only win so far came on the Polytrack, but this is easier than the handicap won at Ayr in May by Marino Prince and a bold bid is expected from him. Hathaway has outside claims if at her best, but it's hard to make a serious case for any of the remainder.
