Verdict

CHARLIE COOL races off the same mark as when successful in this 12 months ago. He's run well without reward lately, including when sixth in a better race at York on Saturday, and can stage a repeat. The danger may be Tartan Gunna, who is now 3lb lower than when successful at Newcastle a year ago and another who's been thereabouts in decent company of late. Dolphin Rock only went down by a head to Magic Cat over a slightly shorter trip at Haydock last week while Jonny Lesters Hair is gradually easing toward a decent mark and found 1m3f stretching his stamina at Carlisle last time.
