In depth

Verdict

The Haggas yard boasts an impressive strike rate at this venue and IMPULSIVE ONE is taken to make a winning return. Progressive over a mile last season, he’s been gelded since and is fitted with a tongue-tie on his return. Emperor Spirit beat a subsequent winner at Wolverhampton in December and has to come into the reckoning on his handicap debut while Quiet Assassin and Top Of The Pops are others handicapping for the first time with the former having the stronger form last term. Richard Fahey has a good recent record in this though Ventura Mutiny faded badly on his reappearance.
