        Verdict

        ZABEEL CHAMPION finished runner-up in a decent handicap at Chelmsford on his comeback. A dual winner at Newmarket last summer, he should be winning off his current mark this season. Howzer Black finished well ahead of Mascat in the Spring Mile at Doncaster but both will appreciate the return to this longer trip while Fishable landed a course and distance double last year, though remains 8lb higher than when last successful. Benadalid is only 2lb higher than when scoring here last term and is preferred to Wait For The Lord and Society Red.
