        Verdict

        Empirestateofmind won three times last summer, including at this level, and his two subsequent runs, including when a close third at Doncaster last month, came in higher grade. Challet is two from three around here and also scored at York twice last summer. He had a nice pipe-opener at Doncaster and should make a bold bid to gain his sixth victory. However, WIZARD D'AMOUR finished in front of him when runner-up on Town Moor so Karl Burke's charge is taken to go one better. Declan Carroll has struck form and the lack of a recent run shouldn't be a problem for Trinity Lake, who has won first-time-out in the past.
