        Verdict

        Made Of Lir landed a course and distance classified race then ran poorly at Thirsk but GLENDOWN very nearly lost his maiden tag over this trip at Redcar before finding the minimum too short at Pontefract. The latter gets the nod as Mrs Trump has yet to win though she was staying on over Beverley's stiff 5f last time while another maiden, Aurora Glory, was running on over this trip at Redcar. Bryce has dropped 15lb since the season opened and should be taking advantage soon.
