        Verdict

        Desaru was formerly top-class but has completely lost his way nowadays and is proving to be costly to follow. However his trainer is persevering with him and any return to form would be good enough here. Bold Amusement is running well for a horse in his veteran years and should put in another bold effort. Dandilum is still a maiden but ran well enough last time to suggest he can eventually get off the mark. Killarney has too yet to win a race and cannot be backed with confidence from a bad draw while Cosmic Song put in an encouraging effort last time out and may provide the value.
