    Verdict

Speed Cop comes here without a win in three starts but in outstanding form having finished second behind Never A Doubt at Sandown and then an excellent fourth in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Her trainer remains in good form and she should prove difficult to beat. Her main rival will be Richard Hannon's The Privateer who finished third on his only start at Goodwood. Although the form is nothing special he travelled well and with his trainer sweeping all before him in this division, the colt has to be respected. B A Highflyer is likely to find one or two too good again here.
